In 1899, the Mitsui Gomei Company of Japan came to Taiwan to expand tea gardens and established the Daliao Tea Farm in the Zhulun area of the Sanxia District. At that time, a large number of Assam tea trees were planted to produce the famous Nitto Black Tea. Later, a traditional Japanese-style wooden and earthen wall building was built as a Japanese tea farm. The long dormitory is the Daliao Tea House. Later, Taiwan Agriculture and Forestry took over and renovated the teahouse, retaining the Japanese architectural features and renovating the old ones to restore the teahouse's splendor.
