天主堂位於蘆洲區中正路70號。全名為「蘆洲聖若瑟天主堂」，1887年由天主教道明會玫瑰會省何安慈神父建立，為北台灣第一座天主教堂。
蘆洲地區的基督教傳教，以加拿大長老教會馬偕牧師，於1863年建立和尚洲傳道區開始。因傳教衝突，1883年基督教長老會傳道師和會友，南下彰化羅厝邀請何安慈神父到台灣北部弘揚天主教傳道。何安慈神父與傳道師步行五天到達蘆洲，租房子開啟傳道，後於1887年3月19日舉行聖若瑟瞻禮，落成啟用天主堂。
天主堂佇蘆洲區中正路，全名「蘆洲聖若瑟天主堂」。西元1887年，由何安慈神父建立，成做北臺灣的開基天主教堂。蘆洲地區的基督教傳播，是按馬偕牧師佇西元1863年，建立和尚洲（這馬的蘆洲區）傳道區開始，因為發生衝突，西元1883年基督教長老教會傳道師佮會友，落南到彰化羅厝邀請何安慈神父到北部傳道，何神父河道友按彰化徒步五工，上北到蘆洲稅厝傳道，尾仔佇西元1887年3月19舉行聖若瑟瞻禮，天主堂落成啟用。
The Catholic Church is located at No.70 Zhongzheng Road in Lujhou District. Its full name is “Luzhou St. Joseph Catholic Church,” established in 1887 by Father Ho An-ci of the Dominican Sisters of the Rosary. It is the first Catholic church in Northern Taiwan.
Christian evangelism in the Lujhou area began with the establishment of the Heshangzhou(和尚洲) Missionary District by Reverend George Leslie Mackay of the Canadian Presbyterian Church in 1863. Due to conflicts in missionary work, in 1883, missionaries and members of the Presbyterian Church moved south to Luoci area in Changhua to invite Father Ho An-ci to promote Catholic missionary work in northern Taiwan. Father Ho An-ci, along with the missionaries, walked for five days to reach Lujhou. Renting a house, they commenced their missionary activities, and on March 19, 1887, the Feast of St. Joseph, they held a dedication ceremony for the completion and use of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
