The Monument on Lord Jiang's Dam Construction is now erected in the Garden of Five Banyan trees next to the headquarters of Nanliang Group, in honor of Prefect Jiang Yun-Shun who built the Chou-Zai-Wei embankment and bridge. Sankandian is a low-lying area and has been repeatedly rampaged by floods, and traffic on Fucheng North Road was often interrupted by floods, seriously affecting residents' lives. According to the inscription, in the 28th ear of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1763), after Jiang Yun-Shun was assigned to Taiwan as the Prefect of Taiwan, he built a local embankment. In order to commemorate Prefect Jiang's achievement, local residents erected a monument on the bank of the river in the 36th year of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1771), calling the newly built embankment "Lord Jiang's Embankment", emphasizing that the embankment was comparable to the "Lord Su's Embankment" built by Su, Shi in Hangzhou's West Lake. In addition, it tells the fact that Sankandian was holding the thoroughfare of "Fucheng North Road" from Fucheng to Zhuluo County in the Qing Dynasty and reveals the role of the Sankandian located outside the city. After the Japanese Occupation, it was used as a sugar factory with convenient water facilities, ladened with historical depth and spatial significance.
