Located in Annan District, it is separated from the Sankandian settlement by Yanshui Creek. Adopted the vision of "Taiwan in the World" and the new local studies as the foundation, it expounds the value of multiculturalism through the preservation and reclamation of Taiwan's cultural relics, dialogue and international collaboration on historical issues, and intellectual equality, and serves as a national history museum that promotes Taiwan's cultural identity and faces contemporary social issues. On the one hand, it provides information content, such as exhibition objects, documentary materials, image materials, models, and replicas, presents the knowledge interpretation of Taiwan's general history, and provides audiences, school teachers, research scholars, and the general public who are interested in Taiwan's history to read in depth. In addition, the permanent exhibition in the museum is "This Land, This People (Si-tu-si-min): The Story of Taiwan", while visiting this exhibition, you will start from the mysterious legend of origin, follow the changes of the times that happened time and again on this land, and see the appearance, voice, and story of the Taiwanese people under the grand history.
