位於五股成泰路4段22巷的巷底，視野廣闊，其最大的特色是可以看到淡水河與基隆河的交接處，與台北市的社子島、關渡平原遙遙相望，有所謂的「獅象捍門」，「象」是關渡的象鼻頭；「門」是干豆門也就是在地關渡；「獅」則是獅子頭隘口。
在清中葉，此隘口位處於淡水河上，是進入關渡、三蘆、臺北市的重要地段，戰略位置重要。到民國50年代，為防颱風造成臺北的水患，因此炸開隘口以拓寬河道。至2017年重新整理、裝修之下成為可飽覽淡水河景的五股獅子頭觀景平台。
獅仔頭隘口佇新北市五股區，光景曠闊，佇遮毋但會當看著淡水河摻基隆河相交接，閣會當佮社仔島、干豆平原遠遠相對看，成做蓋出名風景。此地被稱為「獅象捍門」，「象」是關渡的象鼻頭；「門」是干豆門；「獅」是獅仔頭隘口。
佇清朝中葉時代，這个隘口是進入關渡、三重埔、蘆洲、臺北市的關鍵所在，在戰事方面占著好地理。一直到民國50年代，為著避免風颱造成臺北地區做水災，所以共隘口磅予開來楦闊水路。民國106年，遮經過政府整理、翻修，建造「五股獅仔頭觀景臺」，成做會使欣賞淡水河風光的好所在。
Located at the end of Lane 22, Section 4, Chengtai Road in Wugu, this spot offers a broad and expansive view. Its most distinctive feature is the ability to overlook the confluence of the Tamsui River and Keelung River. From this vantage point, one can also gaze towards Taipei City’s Shezi Island and Guandu Plain in the distance. This area is known as the “Lion-Elephant Defending Gate,” where “elephant” refers to the trunk of Guandu; “gate” is Gan Dou Men, representing the local Guandu area; and “lion” signifies the lion’s head bottleneck.
In the mid-Qing Dynasty, this bottleneck was located on the Tamsui River, serving as a crucial passage to enter Guandu, Sanlu, and Taipei City. It held strategic importance due to its location. In the 1950s, to prevent flooding in Taipei caused by typhoons, the bottleneck was exploded to widen the river channel. By 2017, after a reorganization and renovation, it transformed into the Wugu Lion’s Head Viewing Platform, providing a panoramic view of the Tamsui River.
