This building was used to house the Tainan business-trip housing and Tainan Branch Office of Taiwan Magistrate's Exclusive Sales Bureau during the Japanese rule, which was in charge of the exclusive sales of tobacco, salt, wine, etc. This building used to be the local level office of the monopoly bureau during the Japanese rule and has been a representative of the small brick hall. In 2003, it was designated as a historical site of Tainan City, now it is named Tainan Cultural and Creative Industry Park, positioned as a platform for the integrated development of cultural and creative industries in the southern region, often hosting various exhibitions, industrial matchmaking, and interactive exchange platforms for artistic and cultural talents, holding various theme lectures from time to time, and there are cultural and creative and local commodity sales areas in the park.
